Thinking About Writing Your Own Vows?

Deciding to write your wedding vows, is one of the most heartfelt displays of affection.

It‘s an expression of your commitment to one another. Here are a few things to keep in mind if you decide to write your own vows.

  1. Your vows should express who you are. Don’t wait until your wedding day to attempt to become Shakespeare.

  2. Make your words meaningful. Your significant other will know if it’s coming from the heart, so don’t push it.

  3. Keep it brief. We know you want to profess your love. Remember, less is more. I’m just saying..

  4. Memorizing is a positive, however, you may want to have a copy on hand, just in case you become too emotional. No one expects you to be perfect, just be real!

Keep in mind that this is your wedding day and the goal is for you to become one. Everything will flow as it should when you keep this at the forefront of your mind.
